We at Forward Facing are delighted to introduce professional footballer Emily Simpkins as a new Patron.
She first became involved with the charity in 2020 when she moved to Brighton playing for Brighton and Hove Albion FC. Emily saw first hand the difference our charity makes to the children and families we support. Emily has helped make so many special memories, including so of the best for Izzy and her family; donations, hospital visits and even helping clean and tidy when extra hands are needed.
Born in Staffordshire, Emily went on to coach FA skills for 8 years before signing professional at Doncaster Belles in 2015. She moved to Brighton in 2018 and spent 3 years. Emily went on to become a UEFA A qualified coach in 2022 and is currently the captain of Chalrton athletics women’s team.
Emily words about becoming a Patron “I would love to be a Patron for Forward Facing and be able to give my support to a charity close to my heart! I’ve seen the difference it can make to children and their families, and I would love to be able to a part of that in anyway I can.”
As well as her incredible talent on the pitch, Emily has a passion for Health and Wellbeing. She enjoys walks with her Whippet. We at Forward Facing are so thankful that any spare time Emily has, she is with helping our cause. Thank you Emily x
